Description
Silence conceals stories and unspoken longings from a world long vanished.
I remember my cherished childhood,
Running wild through the valley,
Barefoot in the cornfields,
Through blooming alfalfa,
Through sun-drenched orchards,
Our feet sinking into the hot sand of the valley.
It was there I tasted fruit straight from the tree for the first time.
There we made popcorn over an open flame.
There we raced our old bicycles, day after day.
And now I often wonder—where are you, childhood?
And where are all those who were a part of it?
The design of the lid and the box is inspired by the old photo frames and mirrors made by Uncle Vanu, in the childhood home of Hotaru, Grojdibodu commune, Olt.
Their design stands as a quiet witness of the past, and a small piece of my heritage.
